			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>EDP sponsored senior, Diana Dayaka, was competitively selected to represent her university, Ashesi, as well as her country, Ghana, at the fifth international conference on Information and Communication Technologies and Development (ICTD) in Atlanta, Georgia from March 12th to 15th 2012. ICTD is the world’s premier conference examining the role of computers and communications in social, economic and political development.</p>
<p>Diane developed a newsletter that describes her experience.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To strengthen its efforts  and better accomplish its goals in Ghana, EPI is pleased to introduce Hannah Emma Acquaye as the organization’s Program Coordinator.</p>
<p>Hannah is responsible for providing EPI scholarship recipients with counseling, guidance and support; coordinating EPI’s efforts with its partner universities, and interacting with government agencies and the local business community on EPI’s behalf.</p>
<p>Hannah is a people-oriented person with diverse work experience.  Prior to joining EPI, she served as a lecturer in one of the private universities in Accra. She also co-owned and managed of one of the larger private girls’ hostels in the Central Region of Ghana.  As a result of her guidance, training and mentorship, over 80%  of the student residents pursued higher education after completing their high school program.</p>
<p>Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and a graduate degree in Guidance and Counseling.</p>
